I am a CALD community engagement worker with 25 years’ experience supporting multicultural communities. At the Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre, I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to supporting women affected by domestic, family and sexual violence. I am passionate about helping women rebuild safety, confidence and connection, and ensuring they feel heard, respected and supported throughout their recovery. Bilingual in Arabic and English, I help make support more accessible and culturally safe for women from diverse backgrounds.
