Throughout Sarita’s career, she has worked alongside women and communities affected by trauma, providing compassionate support to help them heal, rebuild, and reconnect with their strengths.
With qualifications in narrative therapy, counselling, and integrative somatic trauma therapy, Sarita brings extensive experience in individual counselling, group work, and case management with women who have experienced gender-based violence, people from refugee backgrounds, and those impacted by natural disasters.
Sarita is particularly passionate about supporting women to restore a sense of safety within their bodies and nervous systems. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach that prioritises safety, empowerment, and choice.
She finds deep meaning in walking alongside women on their recovery journeys and is continually inspired by their resilience, creativity, and courage. Sarita considers it a privilege to learn from the women she supports and to be part of their path towards healing and growth.
